My apologies and condolences.
My apologies and condolences first; to all who've had and lost me in their lives, yours a feeling is what life gives, getting and losing so fast for a soul so fragile like wild eggs, humdrummed to resignation, tenderness it oft° begs. My condolences and apologies first: I'm sorry if I never said goodbye, I'm sorry if you were accustomed to me standing by, I'm sorry if to limbo your thoughts have been cast- my condolences, at your whims I've oft° died thence, to nature I must abide. Weigh not much on your outcast soul; free your mind for tomorrow's long trek. Give the scars a jolly smile, from slavery you'll break, for I lost myself too in this play so foul. So, jot my spirit an apology and a note of condolence, misery won't inter me more in a cruel embrace. © Bunguswa Brian™ 2021
